Pause/Resume

The Pause App feature allows you to temporarily suspend an app to reduce costs or prevent unnecessary resource usage. This guide explains how to pause an app, what happens during a pause, and how to resume it.

Pause an App

  1. Go to the Apps page from the main dashboard.
  2. Find the app you want to pause in the list, click on the app.
  3. Click the Pause App button located at the top right corner .
  4. Confirm your action in the pop-up dialog.
  5. You app status should change to 'Sleeping' after a few seconds

What Happens When You Pause an App

  1. Suspension of App Activity: The app stops running, and no resources (compute, bandwidth, memory, etc.) are used.
  2. Retention of Data: All app data, configurations, and settings are preserved.
  3. Reduced Costs: You’ll only be billed for storage and reserved resources, if applicable.

Note: Paused apps do not serve traffic or respond to API requests until resumed.

Resume a Paused App

  1. Go to the Apps page from the main dashboard.
  2. Find the app you want to resume in the list, click on the app.
  3. Click the Resume App button located at the top right corner .
  4. Confirm your action in the pop-up dialog.
  5. You app status should change to 'Running' after a few seconds
